Happy 2025!
Today's the day most people spend dedicated to finding purpose and fulfillment in their lives and the strategies to get it.
Here's one significant tip I learned when I was discovering mine...
When I first started learning and discovering my purpose in life, there were two verses that caught my eye that I couldn't let go of. They aren't well known verses and if I wasn't careful, I would've glossed right over them and kept moving too.
But these verses are integral to understanding your future and how to secure it.
What are they?
Exodus 13:17,18 and Judges 3:1,2.
"When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt. So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. The Israelites went up out of Egypt ready for battle." - Exodus 13:17,18
"These are the nations the Lord left to test all those Israelites who had not experienced any of the wars in Canaan. (he did this only to teach warfare to the descendants of the Israelites who had not had previous battle experience):" - Judges 3:1, 2
What are these verses saying?
To rule and to reign and to possess the blessings you're looking for in life - to live in a land of freedom and prosperity and true abundance - you're going to have to fight.
Not constantly, but there will be a period in your life where you will have to learn to fight with your literal life on the line. These battles are capable of destroying you, but if you learn to art of warfare, you will never be defeated.
You are built to rule and to reign. To have dominion and to subdue. But to do so, you must learn how to fight and to overcome. Once you have, your authority and your domain will increase.
But if you run from the battle, you will gladly go right back to the bondage that you cried so desperately to get out of.
Don't run from the battle. The longer you run from it, the longer you will remain in limbo, staying stuck in a place you don't like and putting off your fulfillment even that much more.
The war is intimidating. It's meant to be. It's meant to scare you into not trying. And yes, it is as big and as bad as it makes itself out to be. If you think it's a joke, you will sorely find out otherwise.
Learn to fight.
But not just any kind of fighting. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."1
As someone who has fought the spiritual forces of darkness and is winning, I will share with you this year what I know about how to properly gain control over the spirit realm to manifest it here in the physical one.
Here's to subduing 2025,
