This week's Kingdom key is all about learning from the past. 

This is the only thing I want you to concentrate on for that: Forgive yourself for not knowing what you thought you should've known when you thought you should've known it. 

When you refuse to forgive, especially yourself, you hold yourself trapped in time. You don't allow yourself to move on and experience the now because you're too busy either rehearsing what went wrong in the past or mentally beating yourself up for what you should've known, should've done, or should've been able to pull off. 

Stop. 

Just stop. 

The only way you can learn from something is to remove the personal charge you feel around it. And so many of us are going in mental circles round and round about what happened to us, what we could've done better, and what we lost because of it. 

That thought process doesn't help. (Ask me how I know...)

As the saints would say, I've been through a serious season of trial and tribulations this last few years. As I would say - that sh*t was just really effing hard.

But I wouldn't be where I am now if I hadn't forgiven myself for all the shoulda, coulda, woulda's.

Trauma tells you to rehearse what happened so you can do better next time. What it doesn't tell you is that you'll never get the chance to do better because you keep rehearsing this time. 

One thing that I learned during my trial and tribulation season is that God always gives you what you need when you need it. Not before. Not after. But when you need it.

Trust that you got whatever "it" was when you needed to receive it and forgive yourself for all the rest...
